-If you plan on using public transportation, get an Oyster card. They are much cheaper and easier to use than conventional travel cards, and never expire. They can be bought in many stores in London, or online. These days one can use contactless credit cards instead of Oyster.(Check here to see if your foreign contactless card will work.)

-Here is a handy planner for the public transport system.

-DD's Kosher Sandwiches can be bought in most major airports and stations and at some supermarkets around London.  Check here for a list of locations.

-Kosher in the West End/City -
Selfridges food hall has a variety of kosher groceries and prepackaged ready food by 1701.

-Minyan in the West End could be found at the Marble Arch Synagogue. Shacharis during the week is followed by breakfast, and a kiddush on Shabbos.

-Most food products in general stores do not have a hechsher on them. This does not necessarily mean they are not kosher. For example, Coca-Cola does not have a hechsher, but it is kosher. Here is an online kosher product search that could help. Link to Android app.

I'm trying to look up a residential number in Stamford Hill. However I am having a difficult time finding an English version of 411.com.
Would someone be able to look it up for me please? If so please PM.

Something new I learned today at LHR arrivals:

Nearly every time I come (1-3x per month) they tell me to sign up for Registered Traveler (UK version of Global Entry), so today i actually spoke to an Agent while walking through fast track - apparently there is no use in me signing up as I would not be able to use the kiosks anyway because my passport chip is fried (I thought all frequent fliers disable their chips)

e-passport chip

So you're American, ok ok. So that narrows it down to around 300,000,000 people.

Why is that?

Also, as a registered traveller, you can use the UK/EU line...

Thanks. That's what I ended up doing. I ordered Sushi via Uber. I'm looking forward to comparing it to Shallots :P

How much was Uber Delivery to LHR?
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Only going to be there for 1 day/night, so preferably the major sights.

All three aren't actually too far from each other and especially won't matter for one day. Trafalgar looks to be a bit more central but the others are both pretty nearby major sights. I'd go with whichever you like the look of best; travel to the sights, especially on the tube will be easy from all of those.

Dd sandwiches which are pre made sandwiches were actually pretty good and cheap.  Can be found in many markets.  Check their website for specific locations.
