-If you plan on using public transportation, get an Oyster card. They are much cheaper and easier to use than conventional travel cards, and never expire. They can be bought in many stores in London, or online. These days one can use contactless credit cards instead of Oyster.(Check here to see if your foreign contactless card will work.)

-Here is a handy planner for the public transport system.

-DD's Kosher Sandwiches can be bought in most major airports and stations and at some supermarkets around London.  Check here for a list of locations.

-Kosher in the West End/City -
Selfridges food hall has a variety of kosher groceries and prepackaged ready food by 1701.
Hermolis  also have a deli counter there.  The range includes schnitzels, spring rolls, kebabs, breaded lamb chops, chicken wings, fish products and salads. Traditional Shabbat dishes will be on sale on Thursdays and Fridays. Supervision is provided by the Kashrut Division London Beth Din
In the City Munch'n'Crunch have a stand in Hatton Garden with kosher meals, sandwiches, sushi and coffee. It is located at 32 Hatton Garden, on the lower-ground floor of Jewellery Emporium. There is also Mincha there at 1:30.

-Kosher food at non-kosher hotels, restaurants etc. can be ordered from the following kosher caterers in London. They provide double-wrapped meals to any location and could also match the menu of your location.
Hermolis (KED/LBD)
Royal Cuisine (KED/LBD)
1701/Adafina (LBD)

Zmanim - MyZmanim London

Minyanim - There are many shuls all over London, however there are a couple of places that have more constant Minyanim throughout the day.

Golders Green
General Golders Green Mincha/Maariv times
Hagers (Beth Yisochor Dov Beth Hamedrash)
R' Chuna's (Beth Shmuel Synagogue)

Stamford Hill
Satmar 26 (Clapton Common)
Pinters
Biala Shul (47 Moundfield Rd, London N16 6DT, UK)
Here is a list of addresses and zmanim for the above, and other places.

-Minyan in the West End could be found at the Marble Arch Synagogue. Shacharis during the week is followed by breakfast, and a kiddush on Shabbos.

-Most food products in general stores do not have a hechsher on them. This does not necessarily mean they are not kosher. For example, Coca-Cola does not have a hechsher, but it is kosher. Here is an online kosher product search that could help. Link to Android app.

Is there any kosher food in LTN?

DD's (Hermolis) sandwiches and salads sold in WH Smith both pre and post security.

My friend is getting married on July 3rd.
I forget the name of the hall. I know it starts with a K though.
Anyone know of a wedding hall starting with a K?

The main hall with a K is Kinloss.

Do you know which part of London the hall is in, that may help

Putting together a 3 day trip to London with wife & 2 kids - ages 2 1/2 & 1 1/2. Here’s what I’m planning so far. Would love to hear feedback & suggestions.

Landing at 8:30pm Monday night. Coming from Israel so we have suitcases with us. I don’t think it would make sense for me to do public transportation with kids & suitcases to hotel (let me know if I’m wrong). Will Uber or call a car service if somebody can suggest one.

Staying at the Marriott park lane.
Emailed them for an upgrade to a suite, (I’m gold) they said I can pay an extra £200, so hoping for the best once I get there.

Day 1 - Windsor
Dinner

Day 2 - Buckingham Palace with Matt - does that make sense with kids?
London eye
Thames (looking for suggestions which river cruise to do)
Big Ben
Tower of London
Dinner

Day 3 - whatever we didn’t get to on Wednesday

Food - if we’re only going to two restaurants, what should they be?
Selfridges food hall - hermolis, 1070. What’s going on there? Not clear what closed what’s still open…

Transportation - what would be my best guide for getting around?
Getting confused, sounds like Oyster card is the way to go, but then I don’t have the 2 for 1 for attractions.

Really appreciate any guidance. TIA

There is an extensive Hermolis stand in Selfridges which sells ready-made and fresh meals, salads etc. You'd have to check the opening hours however. 1070 don't sell in Hermolis any more.

There are no kosher options in Windsor so you'd need to come back to Central London to eat. Options are only Hermolis or Reubens in Baker Street, or various supermarkets which sell DD sandwiches. Otherwise you need to go further out to GG/Hendon/Edgware to eat.

Thank you.

The hermolis stand is meat or dairy?

I know we’ll probably be going into the Jewish areas to eat. Leaving out reubens what would be my two best options for dinner - meat?

Meat.

Ashbourne and Metsuyan IMO. It’s a big schlep from the city though

Hermolis is meat/fish/parev.

Tish in Belsize Park or Delicatessen in Hampstead are probably the closest. In GG Hummus Bar is worth a trip. Met Su Yan also good.

Oyster card is best way to get around although you can do contactless on the Tube which is more or less the same thing, just saves you having to get an Oyster (sorry I've had mine for so many years through work I forget what the process is)

Thank you very much.

If I use Oyster card / contactless cc I won’t have 2 for 1 for the attractions… is it still worth using?

BH Seems like I was upgraded to a suite already, my reservation shows executive suite by room type. We’re off to a great start.

So what’s the deal with 2 for 1? & is there a better discount I can get than that?

No idea, I'm a local, I don't do tourist stuff!

But I'm guessing bar a few of the experiences most of the offers won't be of interest anyway http://content.tfl.gov.uk/visitor-oyster-special-offers.pdf

No, the 2 for 1 offers with a travelcard issued by British Rail are much better and can save a lot of money - even taking into account the cost of travelcard. See

https://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/2for1-london

Eg Madam Taussauds, London Eye, London Dungeon,  London Zoo

Have used it many times in the past as family live in Borehamwood, so closest station is British Rail anyway.
