so much for the well travelled baby
you must learn how to adapt
Sorry, but a ~10 hour flight is all I'm willing to risk for now.
We spent 2 shabbosim in the hotel in HI.  Such is life I suppose.

So, is 6 nights too much for EZE?  Should we do 4 nights in EZE and 2 nights in IGR (Iguazu Falls)?

Anyone know if I need to get a Brazilian visa for my wife/son to cross over to the Brazilian side for a day trip?  If I do then maybe I'll just wait to do IGR on a future trip when we do GIG/GRU.

How about Tokyo?

Supposed to be superb.

Usually plenty of availability in J LAX-HND.

I'd say go where you haven't been before but you've been to all.
Another big reason against NRT in May is sefira.  Not gonna go the long way with a baby.

Still don't think it's advisable.

another advisable beautiful place to consider in Argentina is BRC (bailoche) a tourist city with nice mountains and rivers and it might even work for the itn. As you can fly there with lan in the same AA milage ticket.
Anyone know if I need to get a Brazilian visa for my wife/son to cross over to the Brazilian side for a day trip?
i think you do need but not 100% sure, i highly doubt brasil will let you in W/O a visa.

How so?  I though AA only gives free stopovers at the North American gateway?

Hmm.  I wonder if you got lucky or if the stopover policy is more lenient than I realize.

You can only book AA/AS travel online.

the only way to book a flight and connect with LAN is by calling AA and yes they do fly to BRC.

Was up for a challenge so I started looking for where we can burn our 4 Hyatt suite award nights that are expiring soon.

Which itin would you do?  Or how would you improve them?  Or which other city with a Park Hyatt would you go with a baby?

Yes I know 7 nights in either of these cities is too much, but then again shlepping a baby onto another flight in the middle is adding difficulty.

Itin 1: 100K CO+$170.84 pp.
Tu 05/01 CO1181, CLE-EWR, 11:16am-12:55pm, B73G Coach
4:05 connection in Newark
Tu 05/01 CO118, EWR-FRA, 5:00pm-6:55am+1, B772 Business
1:45 connection in Frankfurt
We 05/02 LH1028, FRA-CDG, 8:40am-9:50am, A321 Business
7 nights in Paris.
We 05/09 AC871, CDG-YUL, 1:30pm-2:50pm, B77W Business
3:22 connection in Montreal
We 05/09 CO4302, YUL-CLE, 6:12pm-8:00pm, RJ145 Coach

Itin 2: 125K AA+$70.65 pp
Tu 05/15 AA4242, CLE-JFK, 12:00pm-1:55pm, RJ145 Coach
8:20 connection in New York
Tu 05/15 AA955, JFK-EZE, 10:15pm-9:55am+1, 772, First
6 nights in Park Hyatt Buenos Aires
Tu 05/22 AA956, EZE-JFK, 8:15pm-6:05am+1, 772 First
8:50 connection in New York
We 05/23 AA4172, JFK-CLE, 2:55pm-4:35pm, RJ145, Coach
Have another version of the EZE itin on hold now with better connecting times.  I could also route via DFW on the return instead of MIA and fly in F on the MD80, but it would add 1:40 to the total travel time.

Itin 3: 125K AA+$70.65 pp
Mo 05/14 AA1043, CLE-DFW, 1:15pm-3:10pm, MD80, First
4:25 connection in Dallas
Mo 05/14 AA997, DFW-EZE, 7:35pm-7:55am+1, 772, First
6 nights in Park Hyatt Buenos Aires
Mo 05/21 AA908, EZE-MIA, 10:30pm-6:40am+1, 772 First
2:10 connection in Miami
Tu 05/22 AA3515, MIA-CLE 8:50am-11:45am, RJ145, Coach

Why not a couple of nights at the Four Seasons in Carmelo? Not much to do in BA other than eat

Well, that is the point :)
Think 6 nights is too much for BA?  If I did anything I'd probably go to Iguazu, but then I'd have work on Brazilian visas.

Iguazu can be done without a visa. Do some searching around

I'd think Carmelo would be easier with a kid and I bet that if you asked R' Shemtov there, he could help you with a babysitter.
