iOS 5.0.2 Release date?
« on: February 16, 2012, 11:14:24 AM »
So I have the iPhone 4S and the battery is draining pretty quick. (don't stream much) iOS 5.0.1 didn't help much. Hopefully 0.2 will dramatically help.

Any idea when iOS 5.0.2 is about to be released?

Can't find anything concrete on the sites.

My biggest iPhone beef since day 1 is their insistence on a non-removable battery.
I'm pretty sure I'd go crazy.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Right! That's an awkward choice of them. I would have managed if only I could remove and change batteries.. But as always, go figure Apple...  >:(

A must have

Thanks for taking your time with this valid suggestion.
I actually saw/feel it and I'm not sure I like the bit of bulkiness it ads to the 4S.

Also, I like the stand the original Verizon case and holster provides.

Thanks again!

It does add a bit of bulkiness but you get used to it. you dont always have to use it, but I do.
I tried the expensive one and dont see much of the difference, I like how i can use a micro Usb to charge my phone with this.

The way I use it is I let my battery go to about 10% and then push the button on the back to activate it and it will go back up to almost 80%

The battery could actually be removed ... You would have to remove 2 screws to remove the back cover, and 2 screws to remove the battery.

A lil not practical  ;)

Warranty voiding? or impractical?

This wont void the warranty. But if your battery doent keep its charge anymore - not a big deal to replace

I've used something similar too. Its Called the enerG

It's great.
Adds to bulkiness but you really gain alot.

The way I use it is the battery pack is charging the phone till the pack dies then my battery kicks in :)
