Laptop on amazon, Freedom 5% CB or SPG for warranty?

I will be purchasing a $800 laptop on amazon, the question is do I buy it with my freedom which will give me 5% Cashback on amazon for this quarter, or do I purchase it with my Starwood Amex so that I am protected by the Amex G-ds?

Matter of preference but I would go for the extended warranty. I just got 600 bucks for broken iPad so I now swear by Amex warranty.

calculate how much you value the 4000 UR points and see maybe you can buy a squaretrade warranty for less then that.
