New Expedited Security at Airport

HI has any one been invited to the new program, from TSA or more accurately from your frequent flier program to join this "elite" group of express check-ins? As I understand the program, it is by-invitation only and you need to be in the top-tier status to join.
For AA would you need to have actual miles flown now that they track your mileage accrual?

Apparently TSA PRE is coming to ORD (AA) on 3/20/12.

From the thread on FT, it seems security can be a breeze assuming your BP clears. Has anyone here experienced it first hand at other airports?
