wouldn't know if I'd go as far to say only for local Jews but Iceland's not exactly the tourist paradise that say a town like Cancun is where there would be enough Jews coming through to sustain a Beit Chabad.
Sounds to me like a job for an enterprising DDF'r. I thought Chabad's goal was to have a shalich in every location. Iceland is a pretty big omission. I heard on the forums shilchus posts are scarce and much in want. So why not Iceland?
