+1

Finally a new restaurant category and not just another version of a "steakhouse / smokehouse / burger / cafe / bakery / pizza / sushi" that seems to be opening (and unfortunately closing) every 2 weeks all around the greater NYC area.

In the good old days I remember the Red Devil driving around at night. Somehow his presence was felt all around, even though Im not sure if there was anyone else besides him involved.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

During summer visits, I remember some of the big guys with berets parading the streets to protect the Jews/keep the peace after the riots in the 90's. There were the Guardian Angels, and another group with berets.

+100
Yes; the Guardian Angels arrived on the scene when the mayor was too scared to show up and the local police had bottles and rocks thrown at them
Nowadays we actually jail and imprison perpetrators of assault and hate crimes, therefore it's time to actually locate this criminal and send him to jail for assault, attempted murder (if he hadn't sun away), and to send a message that that Jews are not targets and that future perpetrators will not get away with committing these crimes again.

That's might only be a bandage. There's a major cultural/educational problem at play here. What causes a person to so viciously attack another person (who actually just politely greeted him) due to the victim being part of a perceived ethnic/religious or any other kind of grouping?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
