Went to Artisan bakehouse for a light breakfast.
The chocolate croissant and the cream cheese frosted cinnamon bun were heaven. Great coffee drinks too.

Dude's looks like it's open for business. Seems quite deserted at this point.

It's pretty decent, especially for the price ($12 pictured, including a soda).

He said he'll have a full menu in a few days, just sandwiches for now.

Didn't try the bread or any of the food there, but the 2 pastries we had were definitely better than ZTB.
The owner told me that they're expanding soon to offer ever more food options.

honestly I go to ZTB for the pastries not the sandwiches so thats good to hear I will have to give this place a try

Zak's pastries are actually just "OK."

A little better than OK, but not in the same league as in Paris.
Until now my favorite pastries were from Chez Akol in Paris, but Artisan's are quite possibly even better.
