Yes, can we hear your top ten food recommendations at Basil? And your top 5 desserts?
Isn't that like the whole menu?

In B&B that is more than the whole menu, Basil's got more than double that.

Maybe this can answer half of your question.
    http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=14202.msg1054874.msg#1054874
And you can use Google translate to learn how to pronounce Boeuf.

Picked up food from there tonight and everything was VERY good

Wouldn't say that the Burgers were as good as ABC, but the wings were the best I've ever had.

Also very impressed at how they packaged everything in a way that it wouldn't fall apart in the box

    TR:

Ambiance: Between the wood and the bricks the place has a very cozy feeling. Made even more impressive when I was told that all the woodworking (including the sign in front) was done by the owner himself.

Service: As soon as I came I had a table ready (probably because I came at 4PM) but it took quite some time to be noticed by a waiter. The popcorn in the begining is a really cute touch which adds to the Heimish feel (and come to think of it, makes complete sense, why should I fill myself up on a breadbasket? Popcorn is way lighter..).

Food: The fries were delicious and came in a huge serving. The truffle dip was an interesting twist. The wings were the best I've had. I ended up getting the morning scramble burger and thought it was done pretty well. All in all left pretty full and satisfied.

    Bottom line: Would recommend :)

Did the yolk burst and leave you with a "mustard" stain on (the left side of) your jacket collar?

lol If you know anything about me you'd know I don't tolerate ANY mustard stains ANYWHERE on my clothes :P

What I did about the yolk, before starting on the burger I popped it with the top half of the bun and smeared it around so it got all over the bun so none was left to spill onto my clothes (or beard).

Oh i forgot. The one thing that did annoy me was the mandatory 15% tip they automatically attach to your bill, but I believe the pros and cons of tipping have been discussed in their own thread already...

The big minus about the decor IMHO are those blue "flip flop" chairs, they look very uncomfortable and something that women above a size 2 and men over 250 lbs would be embarrassed to sit on.

True the chairs were the one thing that didn't fit in though I don't know why you say they don't look comfortable. They may not be pretty but they were definitely roomy and comfy.

Think of the word aussies use instead of flip flop, anybody heavy set would feel like they are wearing one in public while sitting on one of those chairs. (that's what I meant by embarrassing to sit on)

Think of the word aussies use instead of flip flop, anybody heavy set would feel like they are wearing one in public while sitting on one of those chairs. (that's what I meant by embarrassing to sit on)

    I guess I don't know that many Aussies :P
