Went last night. Burger was great, but not outrageous. Had the Bah bah burger (pic below) and dare I say it, Serengeti's lamb burger in Baltimore is much better. I would like to add that the staff were extremely friendly and were able to modify any burger to your exact likings...I really appreciated that. Fries weren't crispy, but the wings were decent (nothing compared to what Club Houses A"H were). Cups (mason jars) are a cute idea, but they all smell a bit musty which is a little gross imo. I would not go back if I needed to wait for more than 10 min for a table. I liked the BYOB, as I was able to get a 24 oz from Rite Aid around the corner for $2.50.

If your beer comes from Rite Aid (in 24 ounce bottles) , please don't give us your opinions on high end food.

Lol touché. Because every burger joint (those with liquor licenses) are just fully stocked with high end beers and wine. A 24 oz Sam Adams is about the your best option in a burger place city wide. And considering I found out about the BYOB while waiting for a table, Rite Aid was my best option for some alcohol. Seems like I struck a nerve with you, sorry to hear.

B&B posted that picture on their fb page, caption "taking our beer seriously"

When they get their liquor license I don't think you will find Sam Adams on the menu, and if you do it will be the cheapest beer on the menu, their plan is to have local craft brews.

Your best option would have been that store next door to B&B.

Wow, cool! Looking forward to that, hope they include some IPA's in there. They also need to switch back to reservations too, I spoke to the owner (really nice guy) and he said he realizes its an issue and hopes to eventually switch back.

I'm not from crown heights. It was 11pm....the only other place I could find on google maps that was open was some place on the corner with everything behind the glass and they only carried cheap hard liquor.

Sorry didn't realize that you went 11pm , Rite Aid was your best option, that Bodega next door to B&B closes like 10.

The only other option would have been to take beer to go from basil.

Not that I'm against this restaurant (I'm going to go there myself), but it shows how low the chk standards have gone since they have new competition, back in the day they made Kingston pizza close at 9 instead of 11pm because they were scared of it becoming a hangout, Now they certify a hangout with waitresses goyshe music and beer... My problem isn't the beer music and waitresses but rather it's a bais din not holding by their own standards.
I guess they see the community supporting the OK certified pritzus in Basil, and that the community has lowered it's standards and doesn't give a hoot anymore, so they have to compete with Levy.

So if levy starts certifying marijuana edibles and the whole community starts using them, does that mean that chk should also start certifying edibles?
