Another great review of Izzy's (they have a succah but it was jammed).
To put it simply- they only have plastic cutlery and I felt no need for actual silverware. We had the Dino rib, pulled beef sandwich, a hot dog, fries, candies sweet potato.
The meat itself was incredible but even the other stuff was crazy good. The purple slaw, the pickles! Omg the bread was heaven!

I'm in CH and I need to get rid of a whole garbage bag of plastic soda bottles. Are there any stores around here where it's customary for people to bring back bottles to get the deposits?
(I don't think any of the Jewish stores would think you're entitled to do that)

does that also mean that Empire Kosher would also be required to give a refund, since they carry those items?

Yes, if they charge the deposit, they should have it refunded if brought back.

Same owners as Chocolatte, so it might carry same Hechsher.

That being said, IINM back in the days, it was frowned upon to open two of the same type of food establishments on the same block. I guess times have changed.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

thousands of people in CH this weekend. They will both be 'standing room only' and they could even support a 3rd option on the same block. Many are heading to BAB on E New York.
