    Never seen that in CLE.
Are you saying that in CLE even the בעלי שמחה don't eat fleishig?

What did you do when you made a bris? Did you ask your LOR?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Yes, I've been to many brisim here and I have never seen that.
I went over the halachas with Rabbi C, he didn't bring that topic up.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Many times people don't notice what goes on at the head table, so לא ראינו אינה ראיה.

Maybe Rabbi C believes in don't ask don't tell. If you care to ask and report back, it would be interesting to hear what he says.

Seems like it's not clear cut. Which is why we see different minhagim.

Did Moshe Rabenu serve meat at his son's bris? Then again he also used a female mohel, so not sure we can rely on his minhagim.

Not necessarily something you would hear on a Crown Heights thread, but for those that have been around, you must have heard the famous question (and answer) regarding Moshe Rabeinu wearing a shtreimel.

What about making the Bris early because of Zrizim Makdimim?
It says זריזים מקדימין למצוות, not זריזים מקדימין את המצוות. Just saw a whole thing about this in נחמד מפז, and it's a widely spread idea.
Eta: I didn't mean to say that's it's OK to make a late bris.
I don't sin, I give myself opportunities to repent.

Chocolatte has semi-normal vibes, why do E&B and this place have such weird vibes?

That's less odd than E&B on the same block as Mendy's.
Basil is not a pizza store, it's a dairy restaurant.

And across from Boeuf and Bun? It's bad for everyone's business because whenever there's a wait people might go across the street instead of waiting a few minutes.

Trendy neighborhood doesn't mean every place will be a hit. Lots of places here have closed/changed ownership over the past decade.

Ess and Bench (in its current iteration) will never be trendy, and Calabria seems to be following along the same path, it looks like they have an identity crisis and haven't even opened yet.

Ess n bentch is an idea like chocalate ,its not that trendy , since this specific street where ess en bench is located is highly traffic area , so like 50 percent of the year when crown heights is packed with thousands of visitors its a perfect place for a fast in and out low cost option to grab some food , makes sense to me  just like chocolate in a meat version

    Chocolatte isn't low cost.

Looking for good-valued food at a cheap price, go to Albany Bake Shop. It's a block away from Chocolatte and half the price.
