    Wrong.

    It's a Deli & Butcher.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Do you know where they're sourcing their meat from?

Yes. A new shechita (by the owners of this place) under same Hashgocho as the store + OK.

    Cool.

Now let's just hope they can be competitive on their pricing.

    Why wouldn't they?

They used Satmar plants in Mexico (Beef), and Pennsylvania (poultry). Sent a few Lubavitcher shochtim and ran their own line for a few hours. As far as I understood, they were hoping to sell before Pesach, but the chickens were packed in Birdsboro bags. They felt it wouldn't sell retail like that. So they only sold bulk before Pesach.

I don't know enough about the industry to know if/how a small operation like this can compete against the big boys.

    Ha!

    "Artisanal" should tell you otherwise...

But it says no reservation needed and says artsianal food , doesn't make sense for a deli and butcher to me

I walked by when it was under construction and the furnishings I saw would be consistent with a butcher/deli.

You can call up the merchants and ask them to send samples.

Last one I bought was from Oraita written by Shmuel Elishevitz. Very nice.
