In other news. I recently had some guests staying with me, they ordered a platter from Noribar and got to sample some of their sushi.
All I can say is that from such a fancy looking place, I was expecting much better. It was a huge disappointment. I don't know anything about the pricing compared to other places, but anything fried (sweet potato, tempura, and something else) was soaking with oil. The rest was nothing to write home about.
I am sure they will be successful, as the location is excellent, and Crown Heights is a destination with lots of visitors, but for the rare occasion when I might want to actually buy sushi, I doubt they will be my first or even second choice in Crown Heights. Shame.
