Phomen: expensive, and the flavors are pretty authentic, so you won't have anything to compare it to outside of tradition soup.

The closest people have come to ramen is, as quoted, a tradition soup!

So basically it seems Tradition did an amazing job of capturing the flavors of fancy restaurant food and sticking it in a cup of instant soup.

Went to Phomen last week. Definitely enjoyed the everything pho 🍲. But for $26 for the dish I would have preferred to go to izzys. For a unique experience I recommend anyone to go one time.

I'm on a cell phone so difficult to edit the wiki but someone can edit the part about the Ohel bus. It usually waits there for around 60 minutes, not 30.

There is a good cafe just out of Crown Heights called Manhattanville, they are not the cheapest cafe out there, but the coffee and pastries are pretty good. They weren't always under hashgacha, but now only serve cholov yisroel milk and have supervision under Rabbi Aaron D. Mehlman, Executive Rabbinic Director, National Kosher Supervision.

I walked passed it on my way to Williamsburg on Pesach.

I subsequently asked around about the Hashgacha (which didn't seem great in the first place based on self-evident wording on the certificate) and was advised to avoid. It's nice that they want to be kosher CY, but they should get a reliable supervision for that.

While I cannot comment on, or endorse the hashgacha, I will say that if it does not meet your level of kashrus, you should not go to this establishment. If you are unsure, ask your LOR.
