from what i hear it is extremely crom ridden and not such a nice place to stay people told me i should stay in sorrento instead

yes they will be going 2 three place there... sorrento included... you say to not stay in naples at all and find hotels elsewhere?

OK... and what hotel are u stayin in?
i saw a crown plaza (PC points) there i will look into it.. their arriving in naples at 8:30 pm so i figured let them stay around there.. but honestly the PC hotel there didnt look to nice...

ah.. not worth it (IMO) crown plaza is only 25k PC points- and its only for a night... it actually looks really nice! and its on the sorrento coast. I think well go with that... k but were still looking for venice for shabbos and rome- i really wanna look for a hotel with points- but well also pay for shabbos so we can be near a shul

u sure their is a crown plaza i never saw one
EDIT: now i found it wish i would have seen it before would have changed my plans but since i only had enough for two nights at the hilton i paid  :o for one night on a on refundable rate

If you want to use points I would recommend you book the Westin before it goes up to category 6 on March 1st. It's definitely not close to shul (about a 25 minute walk) but its a beautiful walk, theres an eruv and all there is to do in Venice is walk around anyway. Non of the hotels that are affordable near the Ghetto come close to the Westin.

ya not doin the westin... i stayed there and i want them to stay in the ghetto. although im upset its going up.. :(

take the circumvesuvio train and stay in sorrento. its a good base to visit vesuvios, pompeii, capri and positano

in venice we stayed at the Ai Mori D'Oriente, very close to the ghetto

i meant capri lol... their landing in naples airport and than going to capri- sorry my bad ;)

wow thats almost 1000$ for 3 nights... k way outta out budget.. looking for something simple and cheaper...
