Finally got accepted for the Chase United after what seems like a thousand applications :).  Received the letter saying I got it but with a reduced credit line, however it says I can transfer a credit line. So I am thinking about transferring my CO card limit and cancelling that card. What do you folks think?

Also, what is the current offer for United card? I don't remember what it was when I applied :)

Anyone have luck receiving a bump from 30k to 50k for the new Explorer card? I have the 50k offer, but my wife has the 30k offer, and I want to sign her up at this point.

I know ppl have had luck with the old cards, just don't know if they have had the same luck with newer card.

edit: just saw that last yr, ppl didn't have luck. Any updated data points?

Where did you see that? I don't know of anyone that asked within 90 days and hasn't been matched.
And what's a new card? The card hasn't changed?

That post is quite old, matching is alive and well for 50K UA, 50K SWA, and 30K Freedom.  Just did all 3 myself within the last week.

So it's no longer just for Elite's? Do you think that was simply when they first rolled out the card?

I tried logging in from IE instead of Firefox, and her account had the 50k offer. Odd...
