obviously it's no proof but more than one csr told me that i could have more than one spg consumer open at a time
That's true, but it's difficult to get approved for it via recon.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

And done! I did the Chase 3BM.
"Thank you for applying. Your application requires further review before we make a decision.

Here is what you can expect:

Our goal is to notify you in writing within 10 days; however, in some circumstances it may take up to 30 days.
If you are approved, you will receive your card and other important information in the mail.
Please do not resubmit this application."

Hope I get approved.

Should I not go for the Hyatt too? Someone mentioned you can do more than 3 apps for chase?

I wouldn't do that, it's overkill IMHO.

At least 30 days, but the more Chase cards you have (overall), the less likely you'll be approved and the riskier it is applying for more credit.

Ms. DevorieS, call in application status and listen what they say 7-10 bus days or 2 weeks. If its 7-10 its a no go.

By no-go you mean she'll have to call recon, right?

I mean no go it will be "very very" hard to push it through recon, but if 2 weeks, recon might help

The difference is weather you're approved or not

I get that but how does 2 weeks vs 7-10 days indicate that ?

If they told you 7-10 to receive your card then "Don't Worry be Happy".

I don't think the OP has to wait a full two weeks for recon.

IME if it said 2 weeks there was no reason to call recon, as it was approved. When it said 7-10 days that's when recon was needed as it was declined. I don't recall having a "very very" hard time as I have pushed through about 8-9 cards (for diff. people) in the last few months.

I think 2 weeks means it hasn't yet been approved (meaning it might still be approved). 7-10 days typically means you should await your cards in the mail.

Like I said IME when it said 7-10 and I called they were already declined.
