mamilla hotel joining starwoods?

am i the only one that heard this rumor months ago (think i even saw it on dansdeals) whatever happened with that? any other israeli hotels joining starwoods in the near future?

Are you kidding?!?

Yes Sir! Starwood hotels when referenced in the plural form will be pronounced starwoods, as in more than one starwood property!
As the article mentions..."Starwood recently acquired three five-star hotels"

 from what the GM told my friend no way no how, if anything the owner was building a couple of Hotels in europe (1 in AMS) and will probably start up their own Program

I wouldnt look for a *W Hotel in Jeru for yrs or decades to come. Hyatt,Hilton,Marriott,Best Western, Days Inn,HoJo, are all part of the past as well

So which point programs will get you hotels in Israel?

 The original question was about Mamilla and I took it to mean Jerusalem in particular, there are still several *Ws in Israel, 1 in TA, 1 Ramat Gan , 1 Eilat , and 1 Dead Sea

 Theres a Hilton in TA and 1 in Eilat

 Marriott down to a Rennaisance in TA

 The most offereings is with ICH Intercontinental or Holiday Inn Group. Actually with their Crowne Plaza they are the only US chain for earning and staying still in Jerusalem, I know there have a place up in Tiberias,Dead Sea, Eilat, a few in TA
