Frankly for $15 or so I'm not going to start a fight about it, gotta pick your battles.
Some of us like a good battle.  :)
My guess it will be 8-10 bucks for a small touch up bottle. If more than that just buy it online.

By the way....just thought of something.  As crazy as it sounds, you may actually want to get her to sign a waiver when you give her the touch up paint (and should find that cop, if possible, and keep his statement in your files).

And by the way, if you go that route of a waiver, make it a completely mutual/bilateral waiver, so at least you can present it as "we are each agreeing the other was not at fault, and we are both agreeing that this matter is closed, etc."

As I said, the friend was convinced that I was at fault, even though the cop said we were both equally at fault.

Ah, understood. Yeah probably not worth the headache.
Hope it all works out smoothly !

I bought OEM for Honda online before and it was 7.95 I think.

Thanks, anywhere to look up the paint code by model and year?

The paint was $9.75 at my dealership.  Hopefully that's the extent of this, thanks all for the help!

What's your guys take?
Parked my car in a lot for 2 minutes, went back in about to leave and then you hear a little scrape.
A young frum girl (looks newly married with a brand new lease still with temps, trying to turn into the spot but turned in a bit to shallow and scraped the side of my car a bit.
What would you guys do in such a scenario...
Don't have much time before she comes back out..

I had a similar story, guy scraped my car. I told him that i had a damage waiver and if any issues i'll contact him. Car was covered under waiver and he ended up sending me a tremendous message thanking me etc.

If little scrape doesnt bother you (obviously if it does, its a separate story), you dont know the impact you can have by being friendly and caring about it.

yes it's no biggie it's a little scratch I can take some rubbing alcohol and probably remove most of it.
but what bothers me most is that I was sitting in the car and she saw, she just walked straight into the bank didn't budge or even feel the need to say I'm sorry.
Not worth my time to file police report or to ask if any money just decency I expected from her.
Should I go over to her and tell her it's fine but metchlickeit you should say I'm sorry do I owe you anything?

. My car is the one with salt all over it, and you can see a nice clean spot from the scrape. while hers is the brand new Honda Accord.

Go easy on her...
Of course dont want to hurt someone's feelings, and she will feel like a piece of #### the whole day.
But come on some decency to man up and speak up for damage that you did.
At this point I think I'm just going to leave it, really shouldn't.
But not waiting around any longer for her to come out or to go in to the bank.

I think I'm just going to write a note and leave it on her dashboard.
I'll leave my phone number there as well she could send a text or give me a call let's see if she has that much in her.

I understand that you are ticked off at her for not manning up, but it's not really your job to educate her to be a better person.
