email on blackberry

for some reason i cant get the email on my blackberry to work.
when i go into the setup and try to add my gmail, it says "update failed"

any idea whats the problem

(i treid the google verification link, dosnt help)

i did. im in brasil. so its timbrasil.blackberry.com
they gave me an option to set up an email account. but its only the blackberry one @timbrasil.blackberry.com

yes. thx i got it working. problem was with my carrier.

i cant speak for everyone, but i like a nice slick phone that works and i can depend on it. i dont need a gadget that has all sorts of extra capabilities, that for your average guy are useless
