For the record, I'm not terribly impressed with Yerachmiel Begun's voice, but he is a prolific (and excellent) composer and he definitely adds an important element to the choir. I was always impressed with his choice to lead a children's choir as opposed to singing and releasing his own material under his own name. He did tremendously well for himself and is one of the reasons why jewish music is going strong today. In fact, I would put him in the same category as MBD and Fried in terms of his influence on Jewish Music and todays generation of singers (many of whom spent time in the Miami Boys Choir; think Yaakov Shwekey, Yehuda, Shloimy Dachs for starters!!!)
