If you didn't get the bonus, that means the RSVP had the 12 language, and it's 12 months from canceling the card not 12 months from the last time you received the bonus.

No, and besides the fact that you can't reuse a BGR code over the phone.

Uh oh, this is going into the mistakes we make playing this game thread I think, but I still have the old card, but I don't remember any language on the paper. Anyway to fight this and get the bonus?

ok, I guess I can ask them to open an investigation, I checked with them prior to opening it and they said I would get it, so maybe I have a shot. any downside to have them opening up an investigation?

I'm assuming you threw out the targeted offer. I always keep mine until the bonus posts.

Yes, a few weeks ago, learning from my mistakes, oh well. When I chatted with amex about it, they said they could open an investigation, do you think I lose anything by that?
