Don't believe that offer is around now (IIRC most recent was 75,000 for 5K). Word is the offer will be coming back soon.

6-8 weeks . Although if u open the membership rewards page through yor account it will show pending after the statement

my statement should be in about 4 days. Wanted to transfer to British till deadline 7th June. But before that upgrade to platinum...

Once you pay you can SM for them to expedite the points.

"Pay the bill all b4 the closing of the statement" - do you think this would help to have bonus points be available faster?
(I though it'd be nice idea that my filled spending requirements be reflected in statement balance... If not, I shall really rush to repay before the statement. Please confirm)

You can send a secure message to Amex once you've paid the bill and ask for the pending points to expedited and made available immediately.

paid for my qualified spending before statement as were suggested above.

I activated my card last night and SMed them and they confirmed the 75k bonus is attached to my account. Figured it was better to have it in writing in case something happens down the road.

Hi, I got the benefits from the amex platinum card & would like to downgrade it back to the gold card. Should I transfer out the points first? Will they take it away?
