I SM'ed them this morning about my airline credit reimbursement.
I received a response along the lines of "we are happy to say we have credited your account Hope it brings a big smile to your face..."

I've paid for my requirement spending yesterday (before the first statement),
and already see my 75K points pending (along with 2x airfare that I've purchased; but no "main" points yet.)

Q: shall I ask via SM to expedite my points? Or better wait for statement closing day and ask after?
(I'm in hurry to do platinum and transfer to British before 7th June

)

What main points are you talking about? the 10k points from the spending?

Someone posted that the 1:1.5 British transfer is coming in July. Not sure how accurate that is though.

If you see the 75k I dont think you have to wait for that 5k to post. I upgraded to plat before the 10k(in my case) posted and got the 25k bonus

I dont think you will have an issue. If you want to be safe then wait another day or 2

do you think the 75K points will finalize in day or two? (I though they normally got finalized in 6-8 weeks. And only SM could potentially help.)

Just used the Icare lounge at CDG . Only showed priority pass . Which lounges except just Platinum card, and how would you have only Plat without priority club select as a perk of the card

There are two different things. one is priority pass. Amex buys you a membership as a benefit of the card. THat benefit gets you into priority pass lounges, which you can look up on their mobile app, brochure or website.

Then there is lounge access from the platinum card. This benefit gets you in to Airline Lounges for US Airways (Even if you aren't flying on US Airways) and Delta and American lounges if you are flying on that airline and c an show your ticket. For these lounges you need to show your platinum card, and possibly also your ticket. You wouldn't need the priority pass card here, because these lounges are not priority pass lounges, but airline lounges.

My points currently in Pending state. (Point balance - 0).
By finalized I meant transition of points to available state.

When the bonus hit, I signed up for my Dad and his Business on one computer and my Mom from another computer.

My Dads business and my Mom got accepted.

My Dad APP didn't because Amex said they think there was something fraudulent that went on so they didn't confirm it.

What do I do to get them to approve that APP?
