there is no cc issuer that does that. the only thing that might count is a co-signer on the account, which amex doesn't have at all, only chase.

Who considers AU's income?

Was that the question or was it which bank counts your cards that you're an AU on when considering approving an app. And citi does that AFAIK

I meant authorized user accounts that your on, they show on your credit report as authorized user

They don't count  the accounts that your an AU on when reviewing your report only accounts that are solely yours.

they do. I just had recon approve a card for me and they told me I only have accounts for 2 years when I got my first cc 3 months ago

Rhe primary account holder needs to add your ss number in order for it to reflect on your CR.

Maybe they are giving you a line of BS, it does happen. My kids have yet to be declined for any CC (including Chase) and my guess is it because of their high credit scored and AAoA that are a direct result of being AU’s.

I had the same issue when applying for chase cc for my wife. They weren't counting my accounts that she was an AU on even though they show up on her CR
