it will def last for tablets... For computers I'm fairly certain the start menu will come back on the next windows but they will prob have an option to use the "no start menu"as well

Here are a few options

http://classicshell.sourceforge.net/

http://ninite.com/
check classic start then hit download

On a side note

Ninite is one of the best websites for a technician that I've seen in the last few years. You check off whatever you want to download and they will all install without the pain of going to each website to download each tool.

For example you just check off chrome, adobe reader, vlc player, antivirus, winrar, classic start and you let them all download - it literally makes the reinstallation of windows 20 min shorter

Did you ever check out volery installer? It lets you create a single exe to install many common apps, I think the url is getvolery.com

So the question is...
Do I install a work around, or just reformat and install Windows 7?
