Incident: Room was supposed to be on the executive level with access to breakfast.

Hotel: Four Points by Sheraton Vancouver Airport
Year of incident: 2013
Status at time of incident: Gold
Rate and Room Booked: 3K SPG Points- Standard Room (staying Motzei Shabbos for 5 hours before early morning flight)
Incident: Shower was dirty upon arrival.  Alerted front desk rep who didn't seem to care.  Front desk rep's exacts respons was "I do not have time for this right now", as he continued playing a game on his cell phone.
Compensation: 3k SPG Points

Incident: shower curtain had moldy smell
Compensation: 15000 spg, and a promise from hotel manager to make up for this the next time we visit

Rate and Room Booked: $65 through PL
Incident: Room was humid, doors to closet and bathroom were wooden so they were swollen and did not shut properly. (Saw afterwards others complained about the humidity in rooms as well)
Compensation: Free night stay in any Doubletree

Status at time of incident: Gold
Rate and Room Booked: 14000 Baht 2 bedroom villa
Incident: rained in (not strong)during a storm, ac stopped working for a few hours, internet crashed for a few hours...Just small issues that got fixed very fast
Compensation: 20000 spg points

In the terrace room they have a claw foot tub ( I think that's what it's called ) and they have curtains on both sides since its not up against the wall.

The hotel knew about it prior to our stay and they should have issued a bulletin. And yes on vacation after a late night DO NOT wake me at 815!!!!

Incident: 2 out of 3 lamps didn't work in the room.
Compensation: 1 free hilton night.

Hotel: Homewood Suites Philadelphia- City Ave
Year of incident: 2013
Status at time of incident: Gold
Rate and Room Booked: 16,00 HHonors points + $65
Incident: Requested crib with reservation.  Called an hour prior to checking in to check pool times and crib request, was told cribs are available.  Upon checking in, was told no cribs have been available for 2 nights, was called a liar and hotel staff insisted on checking me in without any alternatives.  Called HHonors, was moved to a different hotel and shaved 2 hours off our trip.
Compensation: 2 free nights at hotel of incident and 35,000 HHonors points.
