Fire alarm went off at 2am. Entire hotel evacuated.

Marriott really felt bad, so bad that they even compensated us with 3000 bonvoy pesos.

Ps, they only compensated for those who asked. The others apparently weren't bothered at all.

Had a stay cancelled by the hotel, received a BMG cert valid at any Hilton property.

Nice. How long before the stay was it cancelled? For what reason? Did you receive compensation automatically?

Staying at Hyatt regency in Scottsdale. At check in they told me that the water for one of the nights of my stay would be shut from 9pm to 5am (no shower, sink or toilet). Had I know this, I would have booked a different hotel. Should I be complaining to the front desk or corporate to get back the most amount of points? Ty!

Year of incident: 2025
Incident: room smelled very bad and no elevators which was only disclosed after booking.
Compensation: 2000 points

this was done through feedback. should I chat or chat or call to try to get more? the room was 8000 per night, and 2 nights were booked but left before the sleeping the second night.

I chatted for a room that smelled like mold and got back 10k. The room was 6.5k. This was almost 2 years ago though.
