i got lucky. there is really no way to get it unless you get invited.

It has less to do with luck than it has to do with how many stays you make at starwood properties

it really has noting to do with the amount of stays. dan is right, one of the ways to get it is by owning a spg hotel.

its like plat. but there are a few extras like a gaurenteed suite upgrade when booking a standard room a few days in advance.

yes its officially 7 days but some spg reps will tell you 3 days. i only had a problem one time when the hotel i went to only had one suite.

I did, and they couldn't really fix it, so i sent an e-mail after my stay.

got an e mail from some Israeli guy who is a manager there crediting my account 3k (1 night ut of the 2 )
should I keep going or just be happy with my 1 free night in August?

just had a stay where I stepped on an open safety pin causing my toe to bleed and other housekeeping issues. Would you all reccomend an email/letter to management or a corporate address?
How do you find a manager's email?

I dont know exactly what your problem was, but please leave it and be happy with what you got. I know the staff and managers there very well, they are having it too much from us guys. Lets be happy they are still around.
