Retain Hyatt Diamond Status

Thanks to Dan, I was able to get Diamond status with Hyatt through 12/31/09.  However, I was only able to do 2 paid stays.  I would love to keep the status for longer. Anyone have ideas?  Anyone try calling to ask them to extend?

I used to be Diamond and then dropped all the way back down to Gold.  I have quite a few stays planned over the next couple of months which will get me back to Platinum and possibly Diamond status.  Is there any quick way to get a trial Diamond status so I can get all the benefits?

i have "real" diamond status now untill feb 2011. when i had 24 out of 25 stays required i tried calling them to convince them to upgrade me to diamond sinse i was almost there, but they did not budge. Maaybe it depends on who you speak to. Anyways, I still have free nights awards in my diamond accounts if anyone wants to buy, especially if you are into the upgrades.

With the FFN promotions and double stay credit my wife and I both have real diamond status through 2011.
