Do your jury duty.

Manhattan Criminal Court:
The boring introductory speech takes about 45 minutes, and should begin relatively on time. Therefore, coming 45 minutes late is no big deal.

If you have a deferment, don't waster your time at the criminal court. Go straight to 60 Centre Street room 139. The line can get busy, so try to come at a good time.

well actually it seems like they closed a few months ago. I just checked online. I was there this past winter. Was around for about 2 years or so. There used to be a schnitzel stand in the area that came and went as well. When I was at SHUK it was jammed with heimishe attorneys etc. pretty good food too. oh well. The area can definitely use a lunch spot.

Yeh my sibling there told me that today, so postponing is basically like missing a term, versus in NY where if you postpone if thats not close to the 8 year period.
