I have an award ticket booked to Israel with a 12 hour 55 minute stopover in Frankfurt.
      What are the chances of Lufthansa letting me fly Stand-by on an earlier flight?
 What's their policy?

Ain't gonna happen, unless perhaps you have mad status and get a really nice agent.

The earlier flight generally opens within 12-24 hours of departure. Keep checking!

Thanks, I plan on it! Right now there is availability is so low I only have one-way booked.


              Actually I have a Q about that. Is there any downside to booking two one-ways instead of a round-trip?
