if you have a decent laptop already then instead of upgrading to a new one i would recommend keeping your old laptop for printing and wordproccessing and getting the new ipad for everything else

I myself am a big tablet fan. But its not a laptop replacement

but even you have to agree that it might be in the future ....so therefore it is not a fad, imo, and is here to stay

I don't think it ever will replace a laptop, but I also don't think it's a fad.

Huh? DVDs and CDs are merely a media medium and were never meant to be around long-term just as floppy disks were not.

But as it's impossible for content creators or heavy typers to replace a laptop with a tablet it simply won't IMHO. A full-size keyboard will always be necessary for that and laws of physics say they won't be putting that on a tablet anytime soon.

I think that's all a very small segment of PC purchasers. Also, we might see add-ons to accomdate it like keyboard docs and etc. Also an iPad pro 15" with heavy duty preformance will sell

If they integrate something like this to tablets, it may be the answer.

That is why I choose This tablet, as it has a keyboard dock feature

You own it? The problem with these things are that the 'touch' screen is usually a 'hammer' screen

Yup, I own this one. I actually really like it a lot. The touchscreen is really good IMHO.

Apple generally has good promos thru amex or chase bonus points mall, but bb can be got at a discount on plastic jungle. I find officemax to be easily available there

You will save on sales tax if you live out of NY. They ship really quickly.

Other than that - it currently is only avail in store.
