Technically, yes, though you may have some explaining to do to the CSR. Most wait a month before churning.

if its the first time you got this card you can SM whenever you want, the mess starts when people are not carefull at churning this card.

Booked a UA award flight before I had this card so couldn't use it to pay the taxes... what are the odds I can get them to waive the bag fees?  My reservation online at one point had the bag fees crossed out and said free but just checked again and its back to $25

I read through the last 9 pages and the wiki. I understand that needing a new United FFN is necessary to churn the personal card... but do you have guys use different addresses/phone numbers on the United site then for the new FFN? What stops United from noticing you have more than 1 FF account and deleting them?

Anybody had that nightmare situation?

I try not to have two FF accounts simultaneously with the same address. I align them when i'm ready to merge

My issue when putting in a different address is no matter what settings I choose I start getting mail at that address.

Is it necessary to use different FF # even if my United Card has been closed for a few months (end of December)? If it is, do I have to write different address on 2nd MP account? Is leaving FF # blank also good?

I believe the general consensus is you should make a new FF# at another address.
If you leave it blank they usually find your current one.
