You should have made a new ffn & put it in.

If I add someone as an AU on my account will that be put on his credit report ?
I don't want to hurt his credit rating but I do want him to get the free bag on United flights

It won't be a hard pull to the AU if you add him on to your account. If they ask you to enter a SS number it will just be so he can earn credit. And the free bags benefit does not always work for an AU, YMMV depending on the rep.

I got a offer in the mail for 50k so there is still such a offer going around, so they should match

to confirm i apply for the explorer second time with a new FF number judt got my statement 50k miles reported

I have a personal united and want to apply for business. Wiki is not explicit in this case:

Do I use a brand new ffn?
Do I treat this like "first time" and SM right away? Or "second time" and only SM after completing spend?

Not sure about SM (when I did it the 50k offer was public) but you can use the same ffn. Personal and business are considered different products.
