Linking Chase Freedom Card and Chase Account

My wife had the freedom card for a while, while I had the account.  Some weeks ago, I added her to my account, I was told I had to, and then went to a branch to make sure the account and the card were linked through her name.  So far, no bonus points.  I called and was told I have to go to a branch again and the rep with cc can't help me.  Any ideas?

Why not open her own bank account?
Anyway it can take 2-3 months for the linkage.

So there isn't any rush to begin using the card until it links, right?

There is to get the signup bonus and it's still worth using for the 5 point categories (amazon and gas stations currently)

usally you can get back the points even for the money spent before it got linked that happened on my freedom card #3 and #4

Use it anyway then SM chase for the back points.
