For romantic purposes that is...Consider another point the article makes:but having a beard apparently commands respect from other males. So you could see yourself getting ahead at work or even being treated better by your peers. f you want to try and advance your career, put down the razor and let that bad boy grow for the next three months. You’ll be boss in no time!so all the lubavitchers afraid they'll fail a job interview for having a beard....you may just have to "brush up" on your interview skills.
I never really understood why there's minhag (amongst non-chabad) that Rabbanim grow a beard. It's not an halachic chumra, so why? Can someone enlighten me?
The gemarah says: "hadras panim zuken".And the Gemarah says in Sanhedrin that the people sitting in beis din hagodal were only people with a hadras panim.Seems like from there it was taken that chusheva people grow their beards.
Don't know of any suits that draw down yud gimmel midos ha'rachamim for extra parnassah...
It's not an halachic chumra, so why?
Is that a Purim joke?
The entire halchic issue with shabing pretains only to the insturment used.
What's the SOURCE for this?
