Advice/deals on carpeting
« on: March 11, 2012, 10:46:19 AM »
I'm considering putting new carpeting on 2 rooms (about 10 x 14 each) in an apartment we're about to move into. Any advice, deals, suggestions on where to go?

That isn't too big. Have you considered rugs, which you can (hypothetically) roll up and take with you when you move out?

+1, why pay to install carpet in an apartment?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Do you have any recommendations for that (aside from the ones already mentioned in the other thread - Costco, Sam's club, BJs)?

Also, is 10 x 14 a standard size? Is there anything we can do if the rug is a bit big? I can't imagine cutting it is a good idea...

Personal experience, PM for details.

Hate to say this, but KAS carpet did a much better job.
