which card is the best to use for rentong a car ? is the continental card a world card that covers israel as well ? and mainly is an additionaaaaal card holder also covered

Outside of Israel: Continental/United.
In Israel: Sapphire Preferred WMC.

Does the Citi Advantage MC have no foreign transaction fee as well as 2.14 points per dollar?

the main part of the question was in regard to  the additional card holder specifically the continental card didnt see that posted anywhere, if you do pls post a link

I just rented with an amex gold at hertz i didnt get their insurance, and i lost my Teffilen in the car!

does anyone know if amex can help?

Not sure what the added amex protection is. all i did was use an amex.

and im still trying to track down who is driving the car to see if i can get it, but it doesn't look good.

You seem to be under the impression that all WMCs have coverage in Israel.  They do not.

Realy? I have rented in israel both with the continental and the citi preffered using the WMC insurance and never had an issue. I even once made a claim while using the citi preffered while it was still called the pointpass or whatever, i forget.

A side point is, it is still better to use sapphire preffered at least for the no forex.

The agents may not know it (or else they would force you to buy their own CDW with a deducible), but had you gotten into an accident with the CO/UA WMC (or other WMCs that don't cover Israel) you would be paying it all out of pocket.
