Just copy pasting what someone sent me long time ago, might/might not work;

"Claim that you meant to book a one way reservation (picking up and dropping off in different locations) and they'll issue full refund."

Again, I have no idea if this would work or not.

You might wanna try to call the rental company and cancel it with them.

It worked!!!!!  Im so happy . thank you

They did take 1 day rental (23) but i got back the rest!

I'm trying to place a bid on a OW rental and it just loads me to set prices. Can one make bids on OW rentals?

Yes. Are you on the mobile or desktop site?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

I don't know why it's not working. Start from the car rental start page, and go to the name your own price option. That's not working for you?

I recently was looking into a rental that had $32(+$10/day tax etc) a day as the cheapest price.
I named my own price $1 at a time from $20 all the way up to $31.  They were all rejected.  It was time consuming.  It's better that they tell you in advance that you can't bargain on that itinerary.

just did name ur own price for LA at $20 (plus 19 tax) for a 1 day rental in LA.
It was accepted by Hertz so if they try charging me an underage fee i can contest bc in priceline's rules the name ur own includes underage correct?

Any significant drawbacks with using Priceline NYOP?

i.e. other than being non-refundable and age-requirements what are ways one can be screwed over when going this route?

Is there an official cancellation policy if i named my own price?

ETA: I did read somewhere that if i purchase CDW from PL at the time of the reservation then it is fully cancellable and refundable. But id like to use my cc for CDW! Any way to cancel the CDW portion at the time of pickup?

I wad checking out car prices on Priceline and got a great deal by national, when I called them up after reserving asking some questions they told me that it was reserved with a WestJet code, do i have to be concerned about them asking documentation from WestJet when going to pickup the car?
Thanks in advance
