just reading up on that and seems like it doesnt but the question is if you want to merge the accounts it seems it has to exactly the same inofo. however somebody wrote you can transfer but i doubt that is for free even within same household

No matter how you value your Starpoints it's a pretty good deal.

If you value SPG at 1.8 cpp then it's like getting US miles at 0.96 cpm if you transfer in 20K blocks.
If you value SPG at 2.0 cpp then it's like getting US miles at 1.07 cpm if you transfer in 20K blocks.
If you value SPG at 2.2 cpp then it's like getting US miles at 1.17 cpm if you transfer in 20K blocks.
If you value SPG at 2.4 cpp then it's like getting US miles at 1.28 cpm if you transfer in 20K blocks.
If you value SPG at 2.6 cpp then it's like getting US miles at 1.39 cpm if you transfer in 20K blocks.

Before I transfer my 60k SPG points I wanted to clarify a few things.  Ive never used US before but IIRC they sometimes black out dates on their partners, is this correct?
So for flights to Israel is this better than the usual deal of transferring to ANA?

40K gets you 1.875 miles per point and anything remaining under 60K will earn 1.5 miles per point, which is still better than 1 or 1.25 but not as great as 1.875.
