I'm off to Chennai tomorrow for a few weeks. Apparently the nearest jewish presence is a 12 hour drive away.

Any pointers?

Any place you recommend visiting? I want to rent a houseboat on the backwaters of cochin sometime next week.

Goa. Just it might be really hot there

And you can get some cheap moped rentals at like 5 dollars a day it's really fun.

Wow, I just opened this thread a minute before you commented.

I loved goa. I spent a few weeks there (IIRC) been to most of the beach towns etc.

Meh, the decent pics are already in the photothread. I'll do a TR on any place I have been to if I get 20 votes for that place. I'm too lazy otherwise.

I land in Mumbai March 3rd-10th

Is my best bet flying down to Goa for 3-4 nights?

The Holi Festival will be going on March 6th, so looking forward to that!
