Is it still the case that to use Korean miles on a DL flight (to HI), I would have to submit a form proving that everyone on the flight is related to me? What proof do they need?

If you are using KE miles for other people, you need to fill out a form. IIRC, it is passport and basic info along with relation to account holder. A little tedious, but once done, not a big deal. Just be on top of it.

Does anybody know how strict Korean is about joining family members? would a notarized document be enough for them?

Not sure what you mean by struct, but you just need to fill out a family pooling form and write the relationship to account member.

when I try to apply online it states "Step 2: Attach Proof of Relationship
To verify your relationship, attach a visual copy of any one of the following documents: family register, resident registration, household register, marriage certificate, birth certificate or tax return."

That's what I mean by strict?? is that necessary or can I just send the family registration doc? they say they need proof of relationship? whats good enough?

I think i may have sent my marriage certificate, but not sure what they would use for other family members. Just send in what you have and see what they say.

Where did you get 50K from?

Either way, it looks like it prices as two awards of 80k each.

Think you are mistaking the partner chart for the travel on korean chart. The above may be true for partner but I'm not 100%.

It's 50k one way from the US to Europe in f on ke metal and ke allows a free stopover on one ways. So I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to fly through Korea to Europe from the US, on one 50k award. I assumed it would probably be too good to be true, but I might as well ask.
So does that mean that there is no way that you know of to fly on Korean from the US to Europe on a single award?

Yes you're right, I mistook the Skyteam award chart for the award chart on Korean.  On the Skyteam chart It's 100k round trip in f, and I thought I was looking at the Korean chart and then it would be 50k one way.  Sorry guys.
