I find in general I can get the same rates as a travel agent but NOT ALWAYS. It's def worth looking into when booking certain tickets.

In case you didn't figure it out yet from the paid tickets thread,  WhyAich is a travel agent - or works for an agent.

Instead of telling us how good they are, can you tell us how to become an agent?

I just work for one.

Also my company has many negotiated rates and deals with airlines so that's why we're so good.

it usally depends to where a place that people fly alot then try a travel agent but to a place that not so many people are flying to you can almost always get cheaper online as the travel agents don't have so many bulk bookings.

I'm surprised no one mentioned it yet, I have many times found better rates than travel agents.

That's true as superflyer says it really depends on the travel agent.

Many times a client can figure out things online.

BUT (almost, can't promise always) WE CAN match online AND BEAT IT!

You didn't fly since last century?

Someone else buys your tickets?

You use SF methods to get your tickets?

PS: Paying for taxes etc is still called paying.

He asked if I was an agent. So other people thought its obvious that I was from the fact that I'm active on the paid ticket thread.
He doesn't look at that thread, so he didn't know if I was an agent :)
