It's just getting a bit annoying with deceptive plugging.
Can you explain ?

Thanks!

Not you. You've been helping a lot around. I was referring to the post that led to this story earlier today.

I don't know about that part. I think an agency has exclusive ads with him but that's not my question....

Why can someone post orbitz but not another deal.

Also this is totally different than advertisements.

I worked extremely hard with every person to get a sale. I have to convince them and thank G-d our dansdeals members are hard ti convince :)

So yes I'm open for dans requests and would totally work with him if this is the issue
Dan has an orbitz affiliate link. So if all TAs directed traffic their way he'd be losing out. But dan has a proven track record of not getting in the way of his readers saving a few dollars. Otherwise he would've shut down all the threads discussing the URM and other shopping portals. So I'm sure if you posted a great deal and people bought it from you he won't mind.
But enough speculating about what dan would want, Just contact him and I'm sure you can work something out.

seems to me there are two distinct kind of posts:
1. A response to a specific query, e.g. somebody asks for a deal on a specific ticket and "you" answer "I can get it for you for $x", which seems to me (not that my opinion is what counts) would be ok.
2. Randomly offering your services e.g. "PM me for the best prices on flights to Israel for Pesach" which I imagine is the same as any other advertising which is not allowed.

+1 IMHO this should be the policy

If my opinion counts and I'm sure it doesn't because I'm נוגע , it's a +1

Come on!
http://www.kayak.com/#/flights/NYC-TLV/2012-06-19/nonstop
Firstly, 2664 is still a bargain
Secondly if you booked that flight for $3053 you would be sitting in economy :D

Please follow the link or better yet, here's a snapshot from united.com what their fare is:
