wasnt looking for a guarantee, just some data points

So worse case youre saying is to call in and try to get it pushed through same day. Wonder how they verify if youre with MSSB or not....

Looks like this card does not have any language restricting the bonus. Anybody have any luck churning this?

Update: Just got the card after opening a new joint brokerage account with my wife. No instant approval but I got approved automatically 7 days later. I checked my CR and looks like there were 2 pulls. But I don't know if it's because I asked for a reconsideration on a denied BGR and agreed to a second pull on that or if it's because they pulled my credit again for the MS plat...
Anyways, let's see how churnable this card is.

Is there a pull on the date of approval for the ms plat?

Wondering if the pull is done at time of app or at time of approval (if not immediate)

There is a pull on the date of application and the date of approval. But like I said, that second pull can possibly be attributed to reconsideration of the business card, which I requested the day before I got approved for the MS Plat.

i doubt its a second pull for the ms plat as it was never declined initially.

Update: The points posted immediately after meeting the minimum spend. I haven't even paid the bill yet. I did the PGGM as well.
Time to cancel and do it again.
How long should I wait before applying again?

I don't think anyone knows for sure yet. If it is churnable, it's only a matter of time before AMEX realizes their mistake and puts the 12 month verbiage on the MS product like they did for the MB product.

I haven't found any info on the churnability of the card. All we know is that it doesn't have the bonus restricting verbiage on it like all of the other Amex cards.
The fact that you need an MS account to open it probably excludes ~90% of potential churners so here's to hoping that it is only abused by a few people

App'd for the card after adding my name to wife's account. Called app status line to verify they had MS account number. Denied. Reason: I was ineligible for offer. Called recon line with account # again. have to wait up to 4 days to find out. Either way I think it's a second hard pull? Fortunately, app'd for the spg biz on same day as MS initial, so first pull is not for naught.

Did you cancel yet? If so did you try to churn. If I can churn card might pay to open a MS account .

Otherwise dealing with salesmen not the effort for 1 card

Cancelled the card a month ago. I will apply for it again on my November churn. Will report back then.
