New Amex Platinum Morgan Stanley card - 50k offer too!!!

No, just got an email saying that since I don't have an MS account I cannot get the CC
And therefore they will not pull my my credit.......

I'd like to apply for the MS card, I do have an account with them, but I'm wondering if can do a 2bm. From the above comment it looks like they wont pull credit right away and then it might end up being 2 pulls for 2 cards, even though applying at same time. Any thoughts?

Curious about this too. I have an MS account and long ago through out the mailer i go about this card. But now rethinking if i can do this and do an upgrade from my gold to plat (for 25k after 1 purchase) at the same time. How long between your initial MS app and the email notifying you of the denial?

I don't think upgrade from Gold to Plat is a hard pull.

I'm pretty sure it isnt. However, want to make sure that i can claim both bonus (fear once the MS plat is opened the upgrade offer will go away). Avoiding the pulls is not the concern.

SPG is like six months. Without the spend I don't think you have too many decent options. BCP if you buy lots of GGD...

i see now that the business gold 50k has the 12 month disclaimer and i had one that i cancelled in june. are they being makpid on that?

I feel bad for you, but slim chances that you'll get the 50k on the Plat MS, since you already have the MB.

I think the plat MB and plat MS are considered different products than regular plat? Hence why they don't have the 90 day Plat/Gold/Green/Zync disclaimer on them.

Actually the MS Plat doesn't even say anything about the 12 month rule on its app page T&C.

prob as long as u have one you are good

There has to be some kind of minimum high funding to get one I'd imagine, or else everyone would have been all over the MS Plat the same as they were with the MB Plat by opening up Morgan Stanley accounts with hardly any money.

I just did 2BM each for Barclay, BofA, Chase or else I would, and I managed to get 3 pulls total for those and all on my TU, so my EX is free for some Amex action.
