Great Synagogue - Approx. 7 minute walk
Kotel around 15min walk thru the mall & arab Shuk (Only suggested when soldiers are present like friday night on the way home)
Hotel has a Shul in the basement
Shul across the street

Hechsher: Plain Rabbanut Yerushayim (not mehadrin)
hechsherim in isreal whatever your rabbi says you can eat, someone else's rabbi says is treif

If anyone is planing on staying at Waldorf and not eating the free breakfast (Hechsher, Early flight, etc') please PM shimino1

If you get free drinks vouchers and don't use them, I'll buy it off you for 10 shek per voucher.

Even more than that; if they're acknowledging they only release awards in non-peak season, those awards should be 50K, not 80K, by their own admission.

It's especially interesting they're blocking weekends only.  There is a reason the Citi certs are only for weekends.  Most of these higher end hotels live and die off of their group/meeting bookings, which are during the week so that's why in most other venues rooms are cheaper on the weekends and these certs and points are filler for that dead time (ex. TA Hilton was full all week with meetings when we were there and on the weekend had weddings, other Simchas AND tourists).  Obviously the WA isn't  getting those meetings and business bookings during the weekdays if that's when they want people to book with points, which absolutely could signal a long term viability problem for the property.

They gave me a fridge with out any extra charge. The fridge that is  in the room is a problem using especially on shabbos
